Description: This module is used by the following Page 5 interfaces: Vector, Wall, XSect, and Coord. For the Coord interface, it takes a slightly modified form as shown in Figure 2.

Tail

 Call Position Dialog to get tail

Head

 Call Position Dialog to get head

  • X: Enter X coordiante for Tail and Head of vector
  • Y: Enter Y coordiante for Tail and Head of vector
  • Z: Enter Z coordiante for Tail and Head of vector
  • rbs 1n+NL – Define vector with 1 point and a normal
  • cbcNode – Enter node number for base point

  • rbs NormX – Set X component of the normal vector to 1
  • rb NormY – Set Y component of the normal vector to 1
  • rb NormZ – Set Z component of the normal vector to 1
  • rb N1-N2 – Define point & normal by picking 2 nodes
  • cbcNode1 – Enter node number for node 1
  • cbNode2 – Enter node number for node 2
  • rb 3Nds – Define vector by picking 3 nodes
  • cbcNode1 – Enter node number for node 1
  • cbNode2 – Enter node number for node 2
  • cbNode3 – Enter node number for node 3
  • rbs Global – Set translate by global system
  • rb Local – Set translate by local system

  • rbs X/L – Set L for translate direction
  • rb Y/M – Set M for translate direction
  • rb Z/N – Set N for translate direction

  • Distance: Enter distance for translation

 Translate in negative direction

Tran+

 Translate in positive direction

  • rb ROTA – Rotate Vector
  • rbs Global – Set rotate by global system

  • rbs X/L – Set X for rotate direction
  • rb Y/M – Set Y for rotate direction
  • rb Z/N – Set Z for rotate direction

  • Angle: Enter angle for rotation

Rotate-

 Rotate in negative direction

Rotate+

 Rotate in positive direction

  • rb REFL – Reflect Vector
  • Reflect: Select reflect items

  • cbc N1 – Pick node 1 for reflection
  • cb N2 – Pick node 2 for reflection
  • cb N3 – Pick node 3 for reflection

  • Nodes: Enter nodes 1-3 for reflection
