Page 5: LoadPt

Purpose:

This interface allows the user to interactively show, create, modify, and delete loads. It is an alternative to creating loads using Page 3 keyword cards in that load points can be directly picked from the graphics viewport. The following keywords are supported:

  • *LOAD_NODE_POINT
  • *LOAD_NODE_SET
  • *LOAD_RIGID_BODY

Controls:

  • rbs Show – Show existing load point entities
  • rb Modify – Modify existing load point entities
  • rb Create – Create new load point entities
  • rb Delete – Delete existing load point entities

For Show, Modify, and Delete, the Entity Operation Interface is displayed in the secondary controls area. For Create, the General Selection Interface is displayed in the secondary controls area.

  • rbs Plane – Set current section type for plane
  • rb Set – Set current section type for set
  • rb Rigid – Set current section type for rigid

  • Label: Set current entity label type

  • DOF: Set current DOF type

  • LCID: Load Curve ID
  • CID: Coordinate System ID

  • cbc N1: Node ID 1
  • cb N2: Node ID 2
  • cb N3: Node ID 3
  • cb ID: Node, Part, Node Set ID (Modify Only)

 Select all LoadPoint

None

 Deselect all LoadPoint

Rev

 Reverse selection LoadPoint

Alist

 Select all entities within the selected range

Apply

 Apply entries for creation/modification

Cancel

 Cancel this modification or selection

Write

 Write selected load data to file

Done

 Exit LoadPoint data interface

  • Click item from list to select (1)
