Purpose:
This page is primarily for pre-processing. By default LS-PrePost only displays nodes, elements, and *CONSTRAINED_NODAL_RIGID_BODIES upon loading a keyword file, but the input file can have various other LS-DYNA entities such as sets, curves, contacts, rigidwalls, etc… These entities can be turned on for display by using the pageD interface.
Not all LS-DYNA entities can be displayed. Display capabilities have been added only for the most commonly used entities. These entities have been grouped together under related categories (example: SET contains beam, shell, node, part, segment, etc…).
Upon pressing the All button, all entities supported for display are shown in the graphics window (pressing None will then turn them back off). Within a sub-category list of entities, All, None, and Rev are provided for plotting only selected entities.
Controls:
Turn on all entities
Turn off all entities
- Select entity type to be displayed:
- Airbag / Bound / Cnstrained / Contact / Damping / Database / Define
- Initial / Load / Set (shown) / SeatB / Rigidwall / SElement / Section
Turn on all entities in the current list
Turn off all entities in the current list
Reverse selection
Turn on all entities in the selected range only
- Label: Select label type
- (Note: for entities that do not have a detailed label, a symbol will be displayed)
