  • Generate a mesh from 4 lines and 2 lines
  • 1. download and unzip the IGES file lines.iges
  • 2. in LS-PrePost, load the IGES file using File → Open → IGES File
  • 3. click Acen render button
  • 4. go to Page 7: nLMesh (see Figure 1)
  • 5. select Type: 4 Line shell
  • 6. in the graphics window, click lines 1-2-3-4 sequentially
  • 7. click Mesh It
  • 8. click Accept
  • 9. select Type: 2 Line shell
  • 10. in the graphics window, click lines 3-5 sequentially
  • 11. enter N3=5 and N4=5
  • 12. enter Part Id=2
  • 13. click Mesh It
  • 14. click Accept
  • 15. click Bcolr render button
  • 16. click Mesh render button (see Figure 2)
