  • Assign *PART parameters (material/section)
  • 1. download and unzip the keyword file plate.k
  • 2. in LS-PrePost, load the keyword file using File → Open → LS-Dyna Keyword
  • 3. go to Page 5: PartD (see Figure 1)
  • 4. select rbs Assi
  • 5. select “S 1 Flate Plate” from the list
  • 6. in the bottom panel, click the field heading “SECID” (see Figure 2)
  • 7. in the Link SECTION dialog, select “1 Shell” from the list and click Done
  • 8. in the bottom panel, click the field heading “MID”
  • 9. in the Link MAT dialog, select “1 Elastic” from the list and click Done
  • 10. in the lower panel, click Apply
