- Figure 1 – nLMesh Line Mesh
Purpose:
This interface is for shell mesh generation using curves. The following methods are available:
- 2 line Shell – Create a mesh between 2 lines
- 3 line Shell – Mesh a region bounded by 3 lines
- 4 line Shell – Mesh a region bounded by 4 lines
- Line Sweep – Create a mesh by sweeping one line along another line
This interface is often useful in cases where a topology mesher leaves holes due to missing CAD surface data
Controls:
- Type: 2 Line Shell, 3 Line Shell, 4 Line Shell
Number of Elements – Mesh by number of elements
Element Size – Mesh by element size
Point of Line – Mesh by existing points of line
- N1: Enter or adjust number of elements along line 1
- N2: Enter or adjust number of elements along line 2
- N3: Enter or adjust number of elements along line 3
- N4: Enter or adjust number of elements along line 4
- Part Id: Enter or select target part ID
Get new default part ID
Perform meshing
Accept the created mesh
Reject the created mesh or the selected lines
Exit the nLMesh Interface
