Syllabus

This class pro­vides a com­pre­hen­sive overview of var­i­ous con­tact types avail­able in LS-DY­NA with guide­lines to choose the ap­pro­pri­ate con­tact and its pa­ra­me­ters. LS-DY­NA has sev­er­al con­tact types and a num­ber of op­tions avail­able to the user. This class aims to pro­vide a sys­tem­at­ic ap­proach in un­der­stand­ing the dif­fer­ent con­tact types avail­able. Sev­er­al ex­am­ples will be cov­ered as part of the class to il­lus­trate im­por­tant con­cepts and to aid in se­lect­ing the cor­rect con­tact pa­ra­me­ters and op­tions.
