There are no prerequisites. This class is not a beginners class for simulations with LS-DYNA®.
This class is designed for attendees who would like to gain a better understanding of the simulation methods used in computer-aided engineering (CAE) and what can be accomplished with them. It is also for attendees who need to interact with CAE engineers but do not have a CAE background.
The class gives an overview of simulation techniques used in vehicle development with the goal of increasing acceptance of CAE methods. Additionally, attendees will increase their understanding of simulation models as well as gain the ability to better understand and interpret simulation results. Specifically, we will discuss CAE vocabulary, model assumptions, and model plausibility and limits.
