Introduction to LS-DYNA or equivalent knowledge
Syllabus
LS-DYNA has extensive capabilities for solving implicit problems in addition to its more well known explicit capabilities. This course introduces you to LS-DYNA’s implicit features with a focus on nonlinear implicit solutions for structural analysis. This course is suited for someone with previous experience using explicit LS-DYNA or with experience using other implicit FE-codes.
Content
Linear and nonlinear static analysis
Modal analysis and linear dynamics by modal superposition
Implicit non-linear dynamics
Eigenvalue buckling analyses
Nonlinear buckling and post-buckling analysis using the arc-length method
