- Figure 1 – Binout Interface
Purpose:
This interface facilitates the plotting of time history data from binary database output generated by LS-DYNA versions ls970 and newer. The contents of these binary files is the same as ASCII files except these files are stored as branches in a single binary file from smp versions of LS-DYNA. The branch system makes it easy to navigate and there is even the option to open multiple files for comparison. Note that the mpp version of ls970 produces a series of binout files: binout0000, binout0001, etc…
Controls:
Load a BINOUT file
Unload selected BINOUT file
Save selected BINOUT branch to a file
Exit BINOUT interface
- Open Files list – Select from list of currently loaded BINOUT files
- Main Branch list – Select main branches in selected BINOUT file
- Sub-Branch list – Select sub-branch part of selected main branch
- List of main branch entities
- List of main branch components
Plot selected component in current XY-Plot window
Plot selected component in a new XY-Plot window
Add selected component to current XY-Plot window
Open and Raise all closed XY-Plot windows
Clear list selections
Show the general information about the current selections
